Welcome to The Alley FurFamily Rescue and Sanctuary (“FurFamily”), a haven for our feline friends!
FurFamily, a dedicated cat rescue and sanctuary organization, was founded in 2023 by Yanitsa Serrano (“Yani”), a passionate advocate for the well-being of cats.
Nestled in the Bonnyville, Alberta area, FurFamily is a government registered non-profit organization, committed to rescuing and providing sanctuary to cats in need.
Our purpose is to give these wonderful creatures a second chance at life, filled with love, care, and the promise of a forever home.

Our Mission
At FurFamily, we believe that every cat deserves a chance to live a happy, healthy life. Our mission is to rescue cats from negligent and abusive situations, provide them with medical care, and offer them a safe, loving environment. We work tirelessly to rehabilitate these cats, ensuring they are ready for adoption into loving homes.
Our sanctuary is a refuge for those cats who may not be adoptable due to age, health issues, or trauma. Here, they can live out their lives in peace, surrounded by people who care deeply for their well-being. We strive to educate the community about responsible pet ownership and the importance of compassion towards all animals.
